DAY 01: Gabriel García Márquez’s Riohacha
Arrival at the Almirante Padilla International Airport in the city of Riohacha, Touristic and Cultural District. Our representatives will be there to welcome you and provide relevant information about the trip. Transfer – airport to hotel. 3:00 p.m. Check-in at the hotel. 5:00 p.m. City tour of Riohacha: Walking tour of the historic downtown area: Our Lady of Remedies Cathedral, Padilla Park, Canyons Park, Ríito Bridge – Ranchería River Mouth, Monuments: Identity, Gabriel García Márquez’s yellow butterflies, the Word Master, I Love Riohacha, Malecon of La Marina Avenue where you will have the opportunity to buy beautiful Wayuu handicrafts. Dinner – Accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 02: Riohacha – Manaure Salt Flats, Uribia Indigenous Capital of Colombia, and Cabo de la Vela
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and embark on the most magical adventure you have ever experienced with 4×4 van transportation. Our first stop is Manaure, where you will observe the salt flats and salt mining. We then head to Uribia, the Indigenous Capital of Colombia, where we will visit Plaza Colombia, “the navel of La Guajira.” We continue our journey to Cabo de la Vela. Arrival at Cabo de la Vela, check-in at the Wayuu lodges, after settling into the comfortable cabins, we will enjoy an exquisite lunch prepared by the hands of our Wayuu indigenous women. After a short rest, we will go to Ojo de Agua Beach, where we will enjoy a refreshing swim in the Caribbean Sea waters; then we head to the Lighthouse to witness the fascinating sunset… a spectacular sunset. In the evening, we will observe a beautiful starry sky. Return to lodging, dinner, and overnight stay in Cabo de la Vela.
DAY 03: Recharge Your Energy in Jepira, a Sacred Place of the Wayuu – Kaimaichi Hill – Rainbow Point
After breakfast in Cabo de la Vela, we will arrive at Jepira, a sacred place of the Wayuu indigenous community, where we will hike to Kaimaichi or Sugar Loaf Hill, and at Rainbow Point, you will enjoy the most exotic desert landscapes that blend with the immensity of the Caribbean Sea; we will enjoy the beaches. 10:30 a.m. We will continue our journey to Manaure. Descending from the Upper Guajira to the Middle Guajira, we will continue to witness violent waves, white sandy beaches, serene bays, and all types of terrain offered by the immense desert, from loose talcum-like sand, large and small rocks, streams, lagoons, and huge salt flats where the horizon is lost.
12:30 p.m. Lunch in Manaure. Delight in the flavors of La Guajira, immerse yourself in its myths and legends… Wayuu Culture. After lunch, we will move to the Walapuinaje community, where we will have a magical encounter with our Wayuu ethnicity; we will start with a talk that will transport us to the fantastic and mystical world of the Wayuu culture, presentation of typical dances, tasting of one of their typical dishes “El Frichi” Fried Goat; tour of the rancheria where they live; exhibition and sale of handicrafts, where we will have the opportunity to see how they make their handicrafts. Dinner and accommodation in Mayapo.

- Airlines are authorized by civil aviation to make operational changes or cancellations before, during, and after the purchase of the contracted itinerary.
- Air reservations that are modified directly by the passenger (itinerary modifications, name changes, route among other services related to their reservation) will be directly responsible for them, since these modifications cause the travel agency to lose control of said reservation and can only be managed by the passenger.
- Sometimes there may be overbooking of accommodation services in hotels, caused by the different distribution channels they have to market the hotel; however, they must provide different accommodation alternatives of equal or better category to their guests.
- If any breach of any of the contracted services occurs at the destination, the agency TU RESERVA TRIP SAS will evaluate the case and will have up to 60 days (calendar) to respond to it.

- If there is a reduction in the number of guests once the reservation is issued, it is up to the hotel to apply penalties or fare differences.
- In the event of hotel overselling, the hotel is free to reassign clients to other hotels with similar characteristics.

TOUR CONDITIONS
