DAY 01: Gabriel García Márquez’s Riohacha
Arrival at Almirante Padilla International Airport in the city of Riohacha, Touristic and Cultural District. Our delegates will be waiting to welcome you and provide relevant information about the trip. Transfer – airport-hotel. 3:00 p.m. Hotel check-in. 5:00 p.m. City tour of Riohacha: Walking tour of the historic center of the city: Our Lady of Remedies Cathedral, Padilla Park, Cannons Park, Ríito Bridge – Ranchería River Mouth, Monuments: Identity, Gabriel García Márquez’s yellow butterflies, the Palabrero, I Love Riohacha, Malecón of La Marina Avenue where you will have the opportunity to buy beautiful Wayuu handicrafts. Dinner – Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 02: Riohacha – Sea Salt Flats of Manaure, Uribía Indigenous Capital of Colombia, and Cabo de la Vela
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and embark on the most magical adventure you have ever experienced with transportation in 4×4 trucks. Our first stop is Manaure, where you will observe the sea salt flats and salt mining; we continue to Uribía, Indigenous Capital of Colombia, where we will visit Colombia Square “the navel of La Guajira”. We will then continue our journey to Cabo de la Vela. Arrival at Cabo de la Vela, check-in at the Wayuu inns, after settling into the comfortable cabins, we will enjoy an exquisite lunch prepared by the hands of our Wayuu indigenous people. After a short rest, we will head to Ojo de Agua Beach, where we will enjoy a refreshing swim in the waters of the Caribbean Sea; then we will go to the Lighthouse to see the fascinating sunset… a spectacular sunset. In the evening, we will observe a beautiful starry sky. Return to the lodging, dinner, and accommodation in Cabo de la Vela.

DAY 03. Recharge your energy at Jepira, a sacred place of the Wayuu people – Kaimaichi Hill – Rainbow Point
After breakfast in Cabo de la Vela, we will arrive at Jepira, a sacred place of the Wayuu indigenous community, hike to Kaimaichi or Sugar Loaf Hill and at Rainbow Point, you will enjoy the most exotic desert landscapes that blend with the immensity of the Caribbean Sea; we will enjoy the beaches. 10:30 a.m. We will continue our journey to Manaure, descending from Alta Guajira to Media Guajira, continuing to witness violent waves, white sandy beaches, placid bays, and all types of terrain offered by the immense desert, from loose talcum-like sand, large and small rocks, streams, lagoons, and huge salt flats where the horizon disappears.

12:30 p.m. Lunch in Manaure Delight yourself with the flavors of La Guajira, immerse yourself in its myths and legends… Wayuu Culture. After lunch, we will travel to the Walapuinaje community where we will have a magical encounter with our Wayuu ethnicity; We will start with a talk that will transport us to the fantastic and mystical world of Wayúu culture, presentation of typical dances, tasting of one of their typical dishes “El Frichi” Fried Goat; tour of the ranchería where they live; exhibition and sales of handicrafts, where we will have the opportunity to see how they make their handicrafts. • If any breach of any of the contracted services occurs at the destination, the agency TU RESERVA TRIP SAS will evaluate the case and will have up to 60 days (calendar) to respond to it.

TOUR CONDITIONS
